Digital signage for hotels, cafés, gyms, campsites and offices

The info screen that keeps itself up to date.

Say where the screen is. In 30 seconds, Tavleo fills it with what’s on nearby, the next bus and the weather. If you want the menu, the class schedule or a poster on it too, just say so.

You type: Bryggekanten Hotell, Hommelvik

Your screen is in Norwegian, and you can add English or German in smaller type. The app also works in English. This example is in portrait; on a regular TV it is shown in landscape.

Right now we have 19,005 upcoming events from 328 sources all over Norway. Your screen shows the best ones nearby.

Departures from Entur and weather from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. You don’t type in anything yourself.

How to get an info screen in 30 seconds

  1. 1. Say where the screen is

Type the name of your business, its address or your website. We find the place, and if you have a website, we use its logo and colors.

  2. 2. See your screen

In 30 seconds, you see your finished screen. No sign-up needed.

  3. 3. Connect the TV

Open tavleo.no/s in the TV’s web browser, or on a PC connected to the TV, and scan the QR code with your phone. No box to buy.

What the screen can show

Landscape or portrait, in four ready-made themes.

What’s on nearby
The best things around you today and over the next few days. Guests scan a QR code to see more.
Your own events
From your calendar, and only on your screen.
Departures
Buses, trains and boats from the stops nearest you, like a departure board.
Menu
Send a PDF, and Tavleo sets it up in the screen’s style.
Posters
With an end date, so you never have to take them down.
Message
A short text, such as “Breakfast 07–10 on the 1st floor.”
Wi-Fi
Network, password and a QR code to connect.
Welcome
The screen welcomes meeting and conference guests, straight from the calendar.

Say what you want, and it’s done

A sentence, a PDF or a calendar is enough. You see the change before it goes live, and you can always undo it.

Examples of changes

You type: We have spinning every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:00.

Tavleo replies: Spinning is added as a regular group class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18:00. It repeats every week until you say otherwise.

You type: Here is this week’s lunch menu. It applies until Sunday. lunch-menu.pdf

Tavleo replies: The menu is added as a slide of its own and shows through Sunday. Check the preview before you publish.

The screen in reception never shows last year’s Christmas party.

Questions

Is the info screen free?

Yes. One screen is free for as long as you like, with no card. At the bottom there is the Tavleo logo and a QR code, and every 10 minutes a short Tavleo poster appears. Without the logo, the screen costs NOK 149 per month excl. VAT.

Do I need to buy any hardware?

No. Tavleo runs on the TV you have: Samsung, LG, Google TV, Chromecast or a PC.

I use another program today. Can I switch?

Yes. See your screen first, and switch when you’re happy with it. You usually don’t need a new TV or a new box.

Can I use Tavleo in English?

Yes. The app and the AI assistant work in English. The screen itself is in Norwegian, and you can add English or German: your messages then get a second line in smaller type.

What about privacy?

The screen shows only public information and what you choose to add. We don’t sell data, and the website uses Google Analytics only if you say yes. Read the privacy policy.

Who is behind Tavleo?
